1. In the book Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey, on page 235, Abbey discusses the church of the Latter-Day Saints (i.e. “Mormons”). Read this section carefully. What is actually going on here? (Just to trouble things a bit more, read the last–long–paragraph on page 236.)
