A Position Paper, also known as a White Paper, in healthcare today, is commonly used as a tool to educate and inform the public on a specific health issue. A White Paper is an authoritative document on a specific position or recommended approach to solving an identified problem. It is important that the White Paper is assessed to include the quality and source of the message. Include the link to the selected White Paper.
• Select and provide an overview of a White Paper related to a health care policy effort of interest to the master’s prepared nurse
• Identify the source and purpose of the White Paper
• Discuss the effectiveness of the White Paper in advancing healthcare systems, practice, and/or organizations
• Determine the expected outcome of the selected White Paper on economic, legal, and/or regulatory processes
• Support initial posting with three professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal references properly cited in American Psychological Association (APA) format
• Initial responses should be between 250-350 words
