An Institutional theory paper about the EU refugee crisis. The introduction has to be like a bottom up case analysis. More specifically quoting the teacher : Every student writes a 1-2 pages introduction in which
(s)he outlines the chronology of events and sketches important elements of the case. Think of this as an in-depth newspaper article, tracing the key events and, in particular, instances of institutional design or reforms in this case with a focus at the EU-level- also a research question is necessary at the end of the introduction to be further investigated in the paper. The main part of the paper should have theoretical reflections on institutional design. More specifically- I provide some of the literature- I want my theoretical framework to discuss and present sociological institutionalism. and finally the main question that should be eventually answered in the paper is: which institutional perspective(s) is/are best suited to explain the instances of institutional design or reforms that have been proposed or implemented and why?
