Cure Unknown, Inside the Lyme Epidemic by Pamela Weintraub; Precis

A precis is a concise summary on a selection of material. Your task is to write a 1-1.5 page precis for the second section of Cure Unknown. This precis should include the “highlights” of the entire section and reflect all of the approximately 100 pages. In other words, do not cover just the first couple of chapters. The key to writing this is to create sentences that blend into one another in order to not lose the precis reader. Complex sentences may also be helpful in combining ideas together. You may also wish to include quotes, but these must be carefully chosen. Whether you are quoting or paragraphing a section, place a page citation after the section using MLA format.
