Hetshepsut and iconogrpahy

The research paper will discuss Hatshepsut and her change in iconography. It will take into account the new art style of 18th Century Egypt and will look more indepth into 18th century iconogrpahy with Hatshepsut as the focus. I will also discuss the change in image of Hatshepsut, how her image went from being that of a queen and along with her history, turning into that of a king and finally how she had herself depicted as a male. I will discuss how her figure and her attributes changed and how she persceived herself as male and how she positioned herself in icons to be doing ceremonial acts reserved for the male kings of the time.
