You are the new safety and emergency management director for your city (Atlanta, Ga). As the city safety and emergency management director you are required to have monthly meetings with the mayor. Prior to your first meeting, the mayor has asked you to submit a report to the city council. You are to submit a report on the need to formalize and integrate a formal emergency management program within your city. Your report must address the following:
• Explain what are the different hazards and risk that your city could face.
• Explain what are the goals of an Emergency Management effort.
• Explain how Emergency Management will assist your city to comply with different hazards (natural, man-made, terrorism…).
• Explain how Emergency Management will assist your city to reduce vulnerability.

Write a research paper; approximately four to five pages long, not including cover, abstract, references, etc. Be sure the paper thoroughly answers the topics to be addressed and is justified and supported by empirical evidence. It would be best to separate your answers to each topic in separate sections, which must be appropriately identified in the paper. This paper is to be written following current APA structure and formatting. You will submit your paper to Turnitin
